My Story

From confused beginner
to data educator

I still remember the first time I opened Power BI. I had a blank canvas, a spreadsheet of data, and absolutely no idea what I was doing. The tutorials I found online were either too technical, too fast, or assumed I already knew half the things they were explaining.

"I spent weeks watching YouTube videos and still couldn't build a single dashboard that made sense. There had to be a better way."

So I figured it out the hard way — through trial, error, and a lot of late nights. Once things clicked, I realized that nobody was teaching Power BI the way beginners actually needed to learn it: step-by-step, plain-language, with real examples.

That's why I started DatawithAbish. I wanted to build the resource I wish I'd had — one that meets you exactly where you are, no jargon, no gatekeeping.
